Sculptural Lighting & Objects
The light behaves differently here.
A suspended line of carved forms, each harboring a dim internal glow. Light gathers within and escapes only where the material has opened.
Each form is shaped individually, with apertures that vary in size and condition. Some remain narrow and constricted, while others open more fully. The spacing between elements is intentionally uneven, allowing the piece to settle into its own rhythm rather than a fixed pattern.
The light is held low within each form, diffused and contained. It does not project outward so much as remain present inside the material, revealing itself gradually.
Throughhold is offered as a single vertical assembly or in small groupings. Variations in scale, spacing, and luminosity ensure that no two are identical.
Materials
Solid walnut timber, carved and finished by hand
Fabric-wrapped cord
Integrated low-voltage LED
Light
Warm internal illumination (dimmable)
Configuration
Available in 5–7 form vertical assemblies

A stacked mass of carved forms, held in quiet balance. Light gathers within the seams and edges, emerging softly where the forms meet.

Each element is shaped individually and set in relation to the others, creating slight shifts in alignment and spacing. The stack holds without visible fixings, allowing the piece to read as both stable and provisional.
The light remains low and contained, settling between the forms rather than projecting outward. It reveals the points of contact gradually, emphasizing weight, compression, and pause.
No two are identical. Variations in proportion, spacing, and luminosity are inherent to each piece.

A single vertical form rising to an illuminated head, holding a low internal light. The glow gathers at the tip, extending outward in restrained reach.
The form is carved as a continuous gesture, widening at the base and narrowing as it ascends. The opening at the top is shaped to contain the light, allowing it to remain concentrated rather than cast broadly.
Light is held within the upper cavity, diffused and contained. It reveals itself gradually, emphasizing the upward movement of the piece without fully projecting into the surrounding space.
Each Beacon is shaped individually, with subtle variation in proportion, curvature, and light.
